In Drinjaca, the thirtieth anniversary of the crimes committed against the Bosniak civilians of Drinjaca, Kostijerevo, Sopotnik, Pahljević and the surrounding villages was marked. In addition to a visit to the former House of Culture in Drinjaca, which in 1992 was a camp for Bosniaks from these parts of Zvornik, a suitable program was also held in mosque in Drinjača.
On the 31st and 31st of May 1992, in the villages, in the Drinjača House of Culture and in front of it, Serbian units, among whom were the neighbors from yesterday, killed over 100 civilians by shooting and in other ways. Women, girls and girls were raped, and the rest of the population was driven from their homes. Property was looted, houses were burned, and the mosque was demolished.
