In the period between November 4 and 7, 2014, the director of the Institute for Researching Crimes Against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo, dr. Rasim Muratović participated in the work of the Third Congress of the Balkan Federation, which was held in Istanbul. The theme of the Congress was "Balkan migrations", and the organizer of the Congress was Istanbul University 1453 and the Balkan Federation. dr. Rasim Muratović gave a presentation on "Genocide and migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of the 20th century".
During the Congress, the director of the Institute, dr. Rasim Muratović presented a description of the Institute's five projects to the president of the Balkan Federation, Ayhan Bölukbasa. In this regard, it was agreed to sign an agreement on mutual cooperation.
During the break of the Congress, the director of the Institute dr. Rasim Muratović visited the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul, where he had a short and friendly conversation with the Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul, Mr. Hrvoje Kant.
At the end of the work of the Third Balkan Congress, dr. Muratović was recognized for his special contribution to the Congress itself.
