SHOWING OF THE FILM ABOUT THE CRIME AT THE GATE OF TUZLA AT SFF

The film “Zakletva Tuzlanskoj mladosti”, produced by RTV7 Tuzla, will be screened tonight at this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival. The screening is scheduled for 6 p.m. in hall number 3 of the Cineplexx Sarajevo cinema.

The author of the film is Azra Kalesić, the director is Damir Pirić, the producer is Damir Ćilimković, the editor is Mirza Mulabećirović, the cinematographer is Dino Hukić, the organizer of the filming is Mirzet Merić, while the music was composed by Dragan Divjak.

A significant contribution to the realization of the film was made by the Institute for the Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo. Through original documentation, research analyses and historical context, the Institute provided a deeper insight into the events that preceded the crime at Kapija, as well as its consequences for innocent civilians of Tuzla, a city that at the time had the status of a UN safe zone.

The film presents an emotional story about the crime against the youth of Tuzla committed on May 25, 1995. Through archival footage, testimonies from survivors, victims' families, city officials, friends and citizens of Tuzla, as well as documents and statements, the film reminds and warns of the crime, paying tribute to the young and innocent civilians killed.

Tickets for tonight's screening are available online at this link.
