On the occasion of marking February 5 – the Day of Remembrance of the Killed and Wounded Citizens of Sarajevo (1992–1995), the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Islamic Studies is organizing a panel discussion and conversation on the topic: “The Siege of Sarajevo: Narratives and Denial.”
The aim of the panel is to critically examine the siege of Sarajevo through contemporary narratives, the culture of remembrance, and the denial of crimes, as well as to affirm historical truth based on scholarly research and legally established facts.
The guest lecturer is Dr. Zilha Mastalić Košuta (University of Sarajevo – Institute for Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law), while the discussion will be moderated by Mr. Umihana Šošić, MA.
