Prof. Dr. Enis Omerović, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, paid an official visit to the Institute for Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo, where a meeting was held with Dr. Muamer Džananović, Director of the Institute.
During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing institutional cooperation through the organization of joint scientific conferences, round tables, and other forms of academic and professional activities of mutual interest. Special emphasis was placed on linking the teaching process with the Institute’s research and documentation work.
In this context, the organization of study visits for students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica to the Institute was announced, as part of course activities in the fields of international criminal law and international humanitarian law. This form of cooperation enables students to gain direct insight into the work of one of the most significant institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina engaged in researching crimes against humanity and documenting violations of international law.
The Director of the Institute, Dr. Muamer Džananović, expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Enis Omerović for his contribution to the recently published first issue of the Institute’s Yearbook, in which Prof. Dr. Omerović participates as a member of the editorial board.
The meeting confirmed the mutual commitment to further strengthening academic cooperation and developing projects that contribute to the advancement of scientific research and the quality of higher education.
