On May 6, 2026, at the premises of the Bosniak Institute – Adil Zulfikarpašić Foundation, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Bosniak Institute and the University of Sarajevo – Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law.
The Agreement was signed by Amina Rizvanbegović Džuvić, Director of the Bosniak Institute, and Dr. Muamer Džananović, Director of the Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law.
This Agreement represents the foundation for future projects and the enhancement of cooperation, with the shared goal of creating new initiatives and programs. The subject of the Cooperation Agreement is the establishment and improvement of mutual cooperation in the implementation of scientific and research activities of common interest through the joint planning and execution of scientific and research projects, the exchange of knowledge, experience, and professional resources, the organization and support of conferences, panel discussions, round tables, cultural events, educational programs, meetings, exhibitions, promotions, and other scientific and professional gatherings, cooperation in the fields of archival, library, and publishing activities, as well as the development of other forms of institutional and academic cooperation of mutual interest.
The first joint activity is planned for early July 2026 as part of the commemoration of the anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in and around Srebrenica.
