SUPPORT FOR THE INSTITUTE’S WORK: COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH THE MUNICIPALITY OF ILIDŽA

The Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža, Mr. Nermin Muzur, and the Director of the University of Sarajevo – Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law, Dr. Muamer Džananović, signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The Agreement aims to strengthen mutual cooperation in the field of preserving the culture of remembrance regarding the period of aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 1995. The cooperation will be carried out through a number of activities, the most significant of which is support for the Institute in implementing scientific and research projects, organizing conferences, panel discussions, round tables, educational programs, exhibitions, promotions, and other Institute activities.

Director Džananović emphasized that every form of support for the Institute’s work is of great importance, stressing that despite the complex working conditions, the institution continues to operate as a key scientific and research institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina in this field. “We would like to thank the Mayor and the leadership of the Municipality of Ilidža for recognizing our enthusiasm, energy, and the importance of our institution’s work,” said Džananović.

Representatives of the Municipality of Ilidža stated that the signing of this Agreement confirms their commitment to preserving historical truth and providing institutional support to projects that contribute to the preservation of collective memory, education, and the transfer of knowledge to younger generations.
