The conference “Reflections of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Statehood: Research Perspectives and Responses” brought together 37 PhD students of the University of Sarajevo, who presented their work over two days through nine thematic panels.

The event was attended by representatives of the academic community, victims’ associations, members of executive and legislative authorities at various levels, as well as numerous other guests and interested citizens.

The conference brought together more than 60 scholars, university professors, researchers, and experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Türkiye, North Macedonia, and other countries.

The delegation was hosted by the Director of the Institute, Dr. Muamer Džananović, together with the Institute’s Secretary Edis Ikanović and researchers Prof. Dr. Ermin Kuko, Dr. Zilha Mastalić Košuta, and Dr. Alma Hajrić-Čaušević.

The round table will bring together scholars and researchers who will speak about the crimes committed in Višegrad, their significance in the context of Greater Serbian ideology.
